Something I’ve pondered on recently: What’s the value of a “Like” as an sign of appreciation when we have unlimited Likes to give? What would change if Likes were limited in number? Writer and media inventor Robin Sloan has created a what he calls tap essay (it’s an iPhone App) on that very topic. We’re so busy liking things on the web that we forget to take the time to love things on the web.
