Weekly Filet #65: Dead Survivors of War. And more.
This week’s top recommendation
Last year alone, the NY Times recently reported, 6500 US soldiers returning home after war have committed suicide, more than the total number of soldiers killed in Afghanistan and Iraq combined since those wars began. A great many more are suffering from severe traumata. Scott Ostrom, 27, is one of them. The Denver Post ran a photo series about him that you just have to see. It just won a Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography.
