Haruka Murakami – Samsa in Love

Franz Kafka had turned Gregor Samsa into a monstrous bug. Haruki Murakami brings him back. «He woke to discover that he had undergone a metamorphosis and become Gregor Samsa» begins his ingenious short story published this week in The New Yorker. It’s a perfect weekend read. Thinking about it, it has been a while since I’ve last recommended a fiction text. The last one was in Weekly Filet #86, called «Going For A Beer». A great read, still.
