Huw Price on Backward Causation

Philosophy Bites

Causality has always fascinated me. I think I can follow David Hume when we argues that we shouldn’t assume a causal relation between two events just because they appear to always follow each other. But then I come across this editon of the brilliant philosophy podcast «Philosophy Bites» in which Huw Price argues in favor of backward causation. The idea being that something can be caused by something else that happened after that. It’s like time-travelling causation. I can see your head start spinning from here, so let’s jump right into the 15-minute-podcast.
