Father of the emoticon comes out swinging: I think emojis are ugly

Scott Fahlman invented the emoticon, you know, the :-). He practically innovated human communication with it. But the father of the emoticon is displeased of what his baby has become. In an interview last week, he spoke about “ugly” emojis & the 1982 version of social media.
