If Covid-19 wasn’t dominating the news right now, what would be some of the biggest stories?

Over the past two weeks, more than 1.3 million articles have been published on Covid-19, dominating the news cycle like nothing I’ve ever experienced. One obvious side-effect of this dizzying information overload: A lot of things get buried that would normally make big headlines. The Reddit community has collected some of those stories. A lot of them will not be complete news to you, but with most of them, I caught myself thinking: oh right, this also happened and I had already completely forgotten about it.
