This week, TIME has declared “The Protester” its Person of the Year. Two weeks ago, Foreign Policy had put “The arab revolutionaries” on top of their Global Thinkers list. Occupy has become a global call for action. Indeed, this has been a year of protest. Anthony De Rosa, social media editor at Reuters, has done a great job collecting the bits and pieces and forming them to a narrative. It’s a very anecdotic narrative – probably the most adequate way to review 2011 just now.
