It’s the end of an era. Bob Mankoff, The New Yorker’s cartoon editor, will retire. During his 40 years with the New Yorker, Mankoff drew and oversaw some of the most iconic cartoons ever published. Unmatched in their subtlety, they cut through reality with surgical precision.
