The State of the Culture, 2024
«We’re witnessing the birth of a post-entertainment culture. And it won’t help the arts. In fact, it won’t help society at all.» Part of me wants to dismiss this essay as one-dimensional and overly pessimistic. However, there’s too much in there that just rings true and merits deeper reflection. Are we all getting addicted to distraction?
