Real experts know what they don’t know and we should value it
Obviously not a new insight: Don’t trust an expert who never doubts. This essay (shall we say: expertly) lays out a framework for understanding how the «theatre of experise» works and the detrimental effects it has. It also offers an antidote we can all apply: Ask better questions.
