I happened to re-read the great small book «On Bullshit» just last week, and this is a great essay written on its foundation. It examines why the tech industry — from Musk to ChatGPT — is so prone to bullshitting. One insight that made me pause and think: «A second affinity between bullshit and the tech industry is structural: some technologies are bullshit until they are not.»
