Technological body enhancement has been talked about a lot lately, and I’ve linked to a number of related stories (most notably, perhaps, the Self-Made Cyborgs). Google Glass is just the latest development in that direction. What if, however, evolution had done a better job on human bodies? I found this nice old piece from Scientific American with illustrations of a more durable human body. Looks like they mashed up characters from Lord of the Rings.
