The Valtari Mystery Film Experiment

Sigur Rós have successfully made a transition from «the somewhat odd Icelandic band everyone can agree to like» to one of the bands at the forefront of leveraging the internet for their artistic work. In their latest project, called «The Valtari Mystery Film Experiment», they have a dozen film makers produce videos for the tracks of their latest album, with «a modest budget» and no instructions whatsoever. What’s more, they are inviting everyone to contribute a video, one of them will be selected to be part of the series. Six videos are already available, go watch them!

The bianca Story: Coming Home Albumstream

They are way more than a band, but a great band they are. The bianca Story from Basel have finally released their long anticipated second album “Coming Home”. I’ve been listening to this record for weeks, I’ve seen them play live a few times recently, and I’ve been blown away every single time. Click the link below and make it the soundtrack of your weekend. It will stick. Trivia: They are, to my best knowledge, the first band to remix Mark Zuckerberg into one of their songs.
